The Goyen AC Triboelectric EMP7 model measures the movement of solids past a stationary probe and converts this data into an output signal suitable for triggering alarms or for recording flow rates of particulate. When coupled with a practice called "ISOKINETICTESTING" the output from the EMP7 can be quantified and displayed digitally insuch terms as "mg/cubic metre".
The device is a simple self contained 2-wire 4-20mA emission monitor designed to feed a PLC, numeric display or connect network and is particularly suitable for detecting broken bags in dust collectors and for monitoring particulate levels in compliance with environmental regulation.
Applications:
Goyen's EMP7 is suitable for use in the following industries: Power Generation, Bulk Handling, Mining and Minerals, Building Materials, Food Processing, Cement and Chemicals.
Features of the EMP7:
* No range switching or adjustments. * Wide application range (0.001mg/cubic metre to 1 kg/cubic metre). * Output is "absolute" no recalibration required if the instrument is changed. * Output is true mass density/concentration (mg/cubic metre). * Logarithmic output for wide range of displays, but also easily convertible to linear. * Resolution of 0.001 mg/cubic metre. * LED numeric display. * Simple 4-20mA, 2 wire connection. * Normal and high temperature versions. * Standard electronic module with optional probe length. * Simple installation and adjustment procedures. * Lightweight and compact. * Two output relays, each with configurable level, mode, sense, delay. * Unique LED indication of all possible alarm/timing conditions. * Selectable display modes, each with separate averaging. * Simple menu driven operation. * Accumulator for self calibration by isokinetic test. * Two serial ports for network communication. * Up to three additional inputs available in network slave operation. * Large FLASH program memory for future field upgrades or specials. * Inbuilt EEPROM for data storage (1,000 values). * Scale factor to allow either auto calibrate or manual calibration of date. |
