The Goyen CPA1000 Continuous Opacity Monitoring System (COMS) measures opacity by shining a light beam through flue gases. An internal microprocessor calculates dust density and other parameters. The instrument comprises the following parts:
- Transmissometer - it contains all of the electronic and eletro-optic components
- Retro-Reflector - contaning a coner cube reflector
- Local Control Unit - where the terminations and operator controls are located
- Air purge system
- Data Display Control Room Unit (optional)
Applications:
Goyen's CPA1000 is suitable for use in the following industries: Power generation, metal processing, refineries, smelters, cement and chemical products.
