Solenoid operated valves are devices that control the flow of liquids or gases. When energized, a magnetic field builds in the wire coil of the solenoid and this attracts the plunger to the iron top, against the force of the plunger spring. When de-energised, the magnetic field collapses, the plunger returns to its original position and the valve re-sets to its normal position.
Direct Lift valves are so called because the movement of the solenoid plunger directly opens or closes the valve as the seating disc is attached to the plunger. These valves will operate from zero pressure differential to their maximum rated pressure.
Goyen produces a large selection of direct lift solenoid valves, for many industrial applications, in 2 or 3 way and normally closed or normally open configurations. | |
