The Goyen RLP4 point level sensor is based on "RF admittance" technology, considered to be a significant advancement on basic capacitive measurement devices. The RLP4 unit responds to the change of admittance rather than simple capacitive measurement. This feature ensures that the adjusted sensing level is not changed because of variations in the system, eg. product build up on the probe/tank, and changes in material density or moisture content.
The electronics are encapsulated in a solid IP66 rated aluminium enclosure. The module is supplied with standard 25mm (1") male threads for mounting purposes. A multicore electrical cable, including flexible conduit, is prewired to the module. The sensing rod is manufactured from 12mm (1/2") 316 stainless steel and threaded at one end for attachment to the probe. |
